The program will consist of two seperate major events. Career Fair part of the event will take place in the Ishik University garden, where there will be booths of both private and public universities, private K-12 educational institutions and publishing companies.

  •  K-12 students and/or their parents, university students and/or their parents, whom all have the possiblity to enroll one of the advertised institutions. This group can get brochurues from the booths they are interested in and they get to ask questions to the personnel in the booths.

  • University graduates, postgraduates who are looking to pursue a further academic degree or to work in these institutions. This group can get brochurues from the booths they are interested in and they get to ask questions to the personnel in the booths as well as they can submit their resumes or CVs or even have a preliminary interview if possible on site. 

  • Participating institutions themselves who are looking into commercial or academic partnerships among each other, such as publishing companies looking into contracts with public or private universities and universities looking into colloborating with one another on academic matters.

 

The conference will be 5 sessions each day for two days. After an opening ceremony in the first day, there will be a total of four keynote presentations, which will be the first persentation in the mornings and first one in the afternoons of both days. Opening ceremony and keynote presentations will take place in the conference hall. Following the keynote presentations, simultaneous workshop concurrent sessions will take place in the conference hall and in the regular classrooms.
Currently, we have speakers committed us from British Leeds Metropolitan University, Turkish Dicle University in Diyarbakir and Zirve University in Gaziantep as well as spakers from Ishik and Salahaddin Universities in Kurdistan among others.
Speakers will be able to make their presentations in either English, Kurdish, or Arabic. However, abstracts must be written in English language for the evaluation of academic committee noting the language of presentation if different than English.
Registration:
Registration to the event: Registration to the event and abstract submission can be done either online, or by personally submitting the filled soft or hardcopies of the registration and abstract submission forms.
Registration to the workshop concurrent sessions: Participants will be asked to choose from the choice of workshop concurrent sessions that they will be attending so that the organizing committee of the event may reserve the appropriate classes based on the number of attendees.
  • Undergraduate students from faculties of education, management, and also students that might have a career in an educational institute in the future regardless of their professions 

  • Postgraduate students that are having their degrees in educational management, education, management or in a related field. Current Masters and PhD students fall within this category. 

  • Academic staff that are working in the universities in related fields academically. Current doctors, assistant&associate professors, full professors, and other instructors fall within this category. 

  • Administrators and administrative personnel that are working in the sector of education, either at a university, high school, secondary, schools, elementary schools, kindergartens or pre-kindergartens both public and private as well as personnel working in the related governmental institutes such as ministries of education and higher education. Current assistant principals, vice principals, principals of K-12 educational institutes as well as teachers therein who are looking for a career in administration fall within this category. Also administrators at universities such as deans, department heads, other administrative personnel at offices of general secretary, president among others fall within this category. Inspectors, and other administrative personnel work in the ministry and other governmental institutes fall within this category as well.
